A New Level of Crazy: Juxtaposing Fog and Chemtrails

Just recently, while it was quite foggy where I reside, I imagined a world where looney conspiracy theorists akin to flat-earthers decided that the fog was actually a government operation to distribute chemicals on the masses, as with the chemtrail conspiracy theory. Seriously, this exact thought was on my mind not more than a few weeks ago.

Figure my surprise on finding this article today:

So it is entirely true that the U.S. military has used fog to conduct biological experiments in the past. And that same CBS News article goes on to explain that it appears that some people died as a result. It was not acceptable to experiment on the American people then, and it is certainly not acceptable to experiment on the American people now. But even if we could prove that our government is experimenting on us today, they certainly won't admit it now. Sadly, our government has lied to us over and over again throughout the years, and this is one of the reasons why everyone is so paranoid now.

While I'm not naive enough to ignore the fact that the government experiments on the citizens, and abuses them in a variety of other ways, I can't fathom why the government would bother attempting to distribute chemicals as inefficiently as they possibly could, when most of the population is more that willing to take them in an injection right in their arm, voluntarily. But apparently, some folks are able to believe such things. Wonders never cease!
