Overlap: Ukraine / Russia Nuclear Power Station

Here's an interesting one: NPR: Ukraine's Zelenskyy warns of possible Russian sabotage at nuclear plant

This story broke on secondary backroom sites on 7/4, but was actually broken on 7/3 in their source (which was a 4chan post by a supposed ex-military intelligence contractor). On 7/5, the story broke in the mainstream media, on NPR and NBC among others. The original 4chan post claimed that this event was to be a false flag carried out by the USofA. However, given the propensity on all sides (Russia, Ukraine, USoA) to spread whatever story they wish for people to believe, my view is that it is impossible to say who will be responsible if anything happens at all.

Those paying attention will note a few interesting things about this story:

  • Many secondary sites are characterizing this as a Russian power plant; it was a Ukrainian plant, and is controlled by the Russians currently.
  • The Kakhovka dam was in a similar situation, and met a very unfortunate end that both sides claim was the other side's fault.
  • The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was previously the source of anxiety for Europe, with claims of its demise earlier in the war.

The secondary sites are claiming this will be the impetus for global nuclear war starting. The reality is generally a lot more mundane.
